I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Political Science at Ohio State University. In my research, I study electoral competition and political accountability. My work spans both theoretical models of elections, voting, and policymaking, as well as empirical applications of these models on developing democracies such as Brazil and India.

Previously, I was an Assistant Professor in the School of Politics, Economics, and Global Affairs at IE University from 2021 to 2023 and a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Politics at Princeton University in the 2020-21 academic year. I received my Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Rochester in 2020. A copy of my CV is here
